Sat Jan 27 PM at Lillabelle Lodge, Cochrane, ON
Sun Jan 28 AM - PM - heading up to the Abitibi River Canyon/Power Dam & back (150 KM N of Cochrane, 300 KM round trip)
Mon Jan 29 - temperature at 9 AM was minus -38 Celsius (-36 Fahrenheit) requiring pull-starting of some of the snowmobiles.....bare fingers/ears/noses were numb in less than 2 minutes even though there was no wind.....too cold to take many pictures! High risk of frostbite.
Tues Jan 30 - trip to Smooth Rock Falls for lunch & back to the Lillabelle Lake Lodge at Cochrane - 200 KM loop
Wed Jan 31 - running the Frederickhouse River (8" ice) - west of Cochrane

Thurs Feb 1 - last day of sledding before the trip back home

Fri Feb 2 - the 12 hour road trip in the truck heading home - we couldn't resist one last snowmobile ride half way home, in the 2 feet of "lake effect snow" from Georgian Bay of Lake Huron that fell overnight around the Port Loring area
